Itinerary

Moscow – 2 nights, Kazan – 1 night, St.-Petersburg – 3 nights

Day 1 – Arrive in Moscow

Arrival at Moscow airport. Meeting with our representative at the airport. Transfer to the city by comfortable a\c coach. Arrival at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 – Moscow

Breakfast at the hotel. 10:00-14:00 Meeting with your guide at the hotel lobby and start your tour. Walking tour to the Kremlin: explore the territory and cathedrals. See the Red Square with St.Basil’s Cathedral (outside), Lenin’s tomb (outside), Main Department Store (GUM), Zaryadie park. Arrival at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. We use public transport during that day.

Recommendation:

18:00 – 20:30 The circus show in the oldest indoor circus of Moscow – the famous Nikulin’s circus. 

Day 3 – Moscow City Tours

Breakfast at the hotel. 12:00  Check out. Pick up at the hotel for the city orientation tour by private car. Sightseeing city tour includes the most interesting historical sights of the city: the famous Arbat street, Christ the Savior Cathedral (inside), New Maiden Convent (outside), Victory Park, Sparrow hills observation platform where the amazing view of the city opens. Photo stops during the tour.

Metro tour. The metro of Moscow is recognized as the most fascinating metro system: some of its stations are architectural heritage with its’ bronze monuments, stained glass panels, mosaics, paintings and fretwork. All stations are absolutely unique and each of them has a different lightning system. You will be impressed by the lamps and chandeliers which should be placed rather in the palaces than in the underground. The Moscow metro is one of the oldest ones in the world (opened in May 1935).

Day 4 – Moscow – Kazan Trip

09:25 Arrival at Kazan. Meeting with a guide at the boogie. Transfer to the local café for breakfast. 11:00 – 13:30 Departure for the city tour of Kazan. Visiting the Old-Tatar District, where the Tatars lived after the conquest of Kazan by Ivan the Terrible in the 16-th century; the Cloth settlement – the former industrial complex of the city founded by Peter the Great; the administrative complex on the Freedom Square, with the Kazan City Hall, the Opera and the Ballet Theater, the Conservatory, the Government building of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Peter and Paul Cathedral, the Church of the Cross Exaltation, and many other sights of Kazan.

Day 5 – Kazan  – St.Peterburg Trip

Breakfast at the hotel. 11:00 Check-out. Meeting with your guide at the hotel lobby and start your tour. Transportation by private car. Tour to the modern part of the city. The 1000-year-old Kazan has completely changed and became younger during the years of preparation for the 27th World Student Games. You will see the new attractions: the huge Kazan – the new palace of marriages, the Kazan Arena stadium which hosted FIFA 2018, the Palace of water sports, the Millennium Bridge.

Tour to the National museum of Tatarstan Republic.

The scientific research and cultural-educational institution of national importance largest in Tatarstan. It was founded as the Kazan City Scientific and Industrial Museum in 1895.

Walking tour along the “Kazan Arbat”. The pedestrian Bauman’s street in Kazan is just like Arbat in Moscow – a treasure trove of artifacts where every tourist should take pictures: the stylized coach of empress Catherine, a kind of “zero kilometer”, counting the distance to different ends of the world, a fountain with frogs, where you must throw a coin for luck, and others. You can admire the highest in the city bell tower of the Epiphany Cathedral, where the famous opera singer Fyodor Shaliapin was baptized; pompous building of CentroBank RT, built in the early 20th century. 

Day 6 – St.Peterburg

Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with your guide at the reception. Transportation by private car. 11:00 Panoramic city tour which includes the most interesting historical sights of the city: Nevsky Prospect, the Winter Palace, the Admiralty St.Isaac’s Cathedral, Fine Arts Square, Church of Resurrection on Spilled Blood, Smolny Cathedral, Bronze Horseman, Mars Field. During the excursion you have short walking tours to enjoy the views and take pictures.

15:00  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 – St.Peterburg

Breakfast at the hotel. 10:00 – 14:00 Meet your guide at the reception and continue exploring the city. Transportation by car. Tour to the Peter and Paul Fortress – fortified island and the birth place of the city. You will see here the second tallest building and the oldest cathedral in the city dedicated to SS Peter and Paul. The cathedral is famous for being a burial place of almost all the rulers of the country and their family members since the 18-th century.

Recommendation:

18:00 – 20:30 Guided tour to the Hermitage museum.

Arrival at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 – Flying Back Home

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Transfer to the airport.
