Itinerary

Day 1 – St.-Petersburg

Meeting with our representative at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Hotel check in.  Early check-in is due to availability. Overnight at the hotel. Due to the time of arrival we may organize activity for you.

Day 2 – St.-Petersburg

Breakfast at the hotel. 10:00 – 15:00 Meeting with your guide at the hotel lobby and start your tour. Transportation by private car. Panoramic city tour which includes the most interesting historical sights of the city: Nevsky Prospect, the Admiralty, the Winter Palace,  St.Isaac’s Cathedral, Church of Resurrection on Spilled Blood, Fine Arts Square, Smolny Cathedral, Bronze Horseman, Mars Field. During the excursion you have short walking tours to enjoy the views and take pictures.

15:00 Arrival at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 – St.-Petersburg

10:00 – 15:00 Meet your guide at the reception and continue exploring the city. Transportation by private car. Tour to the Peter and Paul Fortress – fortified island and the birth place of the city. You will see here the second tallest building and the oldest cathedral in the city dedicated to SS Peter and Paul. The cathedral is famous for being a burial place of almost all the rulers of the country and their family members since the 18-th century.

15:00 Arrival at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 – St.-Petersburg – Moscow Trip

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and transfer to the railway station. Sapsan fast train will take you to Moscow in 4 hours.

Day 5 – Moscow

Breakfast at the hotel. 10:00-13:00 Meet with your guide at the hotel’s lobby and start your tour. Transportation by private car. Tour to the Kremlin. Walk along the Red Square with its iconic sights: Spasskaya tower, Lenin’s mausoleum, St. Basil’s cathedral, GUM mall, the State Historical Museum. Walk along the Alexander’s garden with it’s numerous monuments. And finally visit the very heart of the city – the territory of the Kremlin and its cathedrals.

13:00 – 18:00 Panoramic city tour which includes the most interesting historical sights of the city: the Christ the Savior’s cathedral (inside), the New Maiden Convent (outside), the Victory Park, the Moscow City business center, the Moscow State University, the  Sparrow hills observation platform where the amazing view of the city opens.

During the excursion you have short walking tours to enjoy the views and take pictures.

17:00 Arrival at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 – Moscow

Breakfast at the hotel. 10:00 Meet with your guide at the hotel’s lobby and start your tour. Transportation by private car. The Soviet Moscow tour takes you back to the communist past of the city. You will learn about the life of Muscovites: the way they entertained themselves, the way they celebrated the most important holidays, why it was dangerous to go to the cinema at the noon time on a weekday and how the young trendies cooked “boiled jeans” at home. We will tell you about the different waves of the Soviet architecture and the brightest examples of it you will see in one of the most beautiful places of the city – VDNH park.

Visit the Museum of Cosmonautics to know about the father of the theoretical cosmonautics – K. Tsiolkovski who worked as a school teacher and became a self-taught scientist. In the museum you will see the original costumes of the first cosmonauts and their food, parts of the spaceships and first artificial satellite of the Earth “Sputnik-1”, see the original capsule in which the dogs Belka and Strelka flew to the space and came back to the Earth safe and sound in the 1960-th.

Day 7 – Flying Back Home

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out. Transfer to the airport.
